FAU Appears to Troll Kansas State With Locker Room Celebration

The Owls may have taken a jab at KSU with their post-game music choice.

Florida Atlantic is headed to its first-ever Final Four, and the Owls didn’t hold back with their post-game celebrations. After sending Kansas State crashing out of the tournament, despite the valiant efforts of Markquis Nowell & Co., FAU celebrated its win by subtly trolling the Wildcats.

After punching their ticket to Houston for the Final Four, the Owls flaunted their win by dancing to music by rapper Lil Baby, in what appeared to be a jab at Kansas State.

Of course, the Wildcats went viral earlier in the NCAA tournament for their pre-game routine of getting loose to the Atlanta-based rapper.

Florida Atlantic not only sent Jerome Tang and his squad packing from the Big Dance, but added insult to injury with their choice of music.

The FAU players were decked out in Final Four gear while the music blared from speakers as they soaked in the upset victory.

Their miracle run through the tournament included wins over No. 8 Memphis, No. 16 Fairleigh Dickinson, No. 4 Tennessee and now No. 3 Kansas State. The Owls’ next test will be the winner of the looming matchup between Creighton and San Diego State.

For now, however, Florida Atlantic is enjoying setting program history. This is just their second ever NCAA tournament appearance, but the Owls have made clear every step of the way that the stage is not too big for them.
