Major League Baseball kicked off its regular season on Thursday and not only did baseball return to our lives, but so did the ump cam, which showed us all to see how ridiculously hard it is to get a hit in the big leagues. 

Not only are pitchers throwing all sorts of nasty stuff these days, they’re also just throwing some severe heat.

ESPN brought back the ump cam for the White Sox-Astros game on Thursday night and we all got see what it’s like to try to catch up to a fastball and how difficult it is to get a bat on a breaking ball.
