By now we all know the pitch clock has arrived in Major League Baseball and the games are looking a lot different, plus a lot faster. 

You know what else looks different? The television broadcasts. Now, as a viewer you’re always looking at the clock on the screen to find out whether the hitter is going to get ready in time and if the pitcher is going to throw his pitch in time. 

It’s all a little … intense.

Well, the Mets broadcast took the pitch clock to a new level during Monday night’s game against the Padres. Check out this dramatic moment during one at bat:
