Even in retirement, former Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger can’t seem to stop reminding fans of his domination over Cleveland.

In Roethlisberger’s 18-year career, he went 26–3–1 against the AFC North-rival Browns. That marks the most wins against any opponent during Roethlisberger’s NFL tenure.

Now, that tradition of winning over Cleveland apparently has been handed down to the next generation in the Roethlisberger family. The retired quarterback spoke about caddying for his son, Benjamin, in a golf tournament over the weekend during his recent podcast episode, Footbahlin with Ben Roethlisberger.

Benjamin Roethlisberger competed in the Cleveland Junior Open on the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour and ended up winning the 10-under division title. The younger Roethlisberger shot rounds of 87 and 81 to capture the win.

Ben Roethlisberger had the perfect thing to say about his son’s win.

“You know, just typical Roethlisberger dominating Cleveland again type thing,” the former Steeler said.

Some rivalries, whether personal or team-based, just don’t fade away. Clearly, this is one of them for Roethlisberger.
