Denver police are looking for the person who tackled Dinger, the mascot of the Rockies, during Monday’s home game against the Cardinals.

Video captured by a cell phone camera saw an individual climb on top of the dugout and tackle Dinger, who was dancing and entertaining fans during the game on Monday.

Denver Police told Denver7.com that the team employee working as Dinger was injured from the tackle of the unruly fan.

Players and fans in the video appeared shocked by what they were seeing, as the fan scrambled away from a stadium employee after tackling the team mascot.

It was a pretty surreal scene at Coors Field, and now, police are hoping to apprehend the suspect in the incident.
