Tom Brady has threatened a lawsuit over a comedy special in which an AI-generated version of the quarterback was giving a crass stand-up routine, according toTMZ.

The retired star quarterback was not a fan of the viral video, which has been wiped from the internet after Brady’s representatives sent a cease-and-desist letter to Will Sasso and Chad Kultgen, hosts of the Dudesy podcast, who are responsible for the development of the comedy film depicting Brady.

Latham & Watkins LLP. sent the letter on behalf of Brady to the podcasters, demanding that any uses of the quarterback’s name, image, voice, persona and likeness be removed from all Dudesy related content. The firm further claimed that the AI version of the quarterback “blatantly violated” Brady’s rights, and threatened a lawsuit if the video was not removed from the internet.

Sasso and Kultgen removed the comedy special that was present on their podcast’s Patreon site at midnight on Tuesday.
