NBA Fans Rightfully Roasted ESPN’s Mike Greenberg For His Take on Resting LeBron James in Game 5

We’re living in a time where there is no shortage of hot takes being screamed on TV at all hours of the day. And we all know by now that most of those hot takes are not good.

But what Mike Greenberg said on Tuesday morning’s Get Up! might be one of the worst takes that you’ll ever hear.

Greenberg went on national TV and made a case for LeBron James to not play in Wednesday night’s Game 5 against the Warriors. He even said that James shouldn’t fly with the team to San Francisco for the game and that he should watch it from the comfort of his very big home.

Why? Because Greenberg thinks rest is more important than trying to close out a playoff series as quickly as you can.
