Jets Fans Absolutely Elated to See Team’s Loaded Primetime Schedule for 2023 Season
As expected, the Aaron Rodgers effect is real in New York, as the Jets are scheduled to kick off their 2023 season on Monday Night Football, hosting Josh Allen and the Bills.
However, the most impressive takeaway is that Gang Green was rewarded with six games on the national stage. The last time the Jets appeared and even scored a touchdown on Sunday Night Football was Week 10 of the 2011 season against the Patriots.
After opening the season on Monday Night Football, New York will welcome the Super Bowl Champion Chiefs on Sunday night in Week 4. The Jets will then head West to take on Justin Herbert and the Chargers on Monday in Week 9, followed by a visit to Las Vegas on a short week when they take on the Raiders on Sunday Night Football in Week 10.
Two weeks later, the Jets will play host to AFC East foe Miami on Black Friday, before wrapping up their primetime slate on Thursday Night Football in Week 17 against the Browns.
Fans had an absolute blast agreeing that New York's social media accurately summed up how long the wait has been, while at the same relishing about the slate of primetime games.
