Model and actress Brooks Nader made her SI Swim debut in 2019, when she was a part of the SI Swim Search open casting call.

This year’s issue marks the fourth consecutive year that Nader has been a part of the magazine. This year, she makes her debut appearing on one of the covers of this year’s issue.

The Baton Rouge native discussed the reaction her family had to her photoshoot and the support they’ve given her as she premiers as the cover girl on this year’s issue.

Check out Brooks Nader’s entire SI Swimsuit photoshoot.

“I think a lot of my memories [of my shoots] come from my family’s reactions,” Nader told SI Swim. “It’s like everyone crying and screaming and saying ‘Oh my God’ and my grandmother going to Barnes & Noble the day it comes out and going ‘Where is it? Where is it?’ She goes everyday until she sees it and buys all the copies. It’s just those things that make me so proud that I’m making my Louisiana peeps so happy. It makes my heart happy.”
