Jamal Murray’s Huge Fourth Quarter vs. Lakers Had Social Media Buzzing

The Nuggets star dropped 23 points in the fourth quarter to help lead Denver to a 2–0 series lead.

After struggling for the first three quarters, the Nuggets’ star point guard Jamal Murray saved his best for the final 12 minutes of action.

Murray scored 23 of his 37 points in the fourth quarter, helping the Nuggets complete a 108–103 win in Game 2 of the Western Conference finals.

The sixth-year veteran’s performance down the stretch helped Denver take a commanding 2–0 series lead. It was Murray’s fourth career 20-point fourth quarter in the playoffs, the most of any player over the last 25 years.

The Nuggets’ floor general filled up the stat sheet, adding 10 rebounds, five assists and four steals on the night.

Murray is no stranger to big performances in high-pressure situations; he has five previous postseason games with 40 or more points, and two with 50.
