Discussion of LeBron James’s next move has heated up ever since James floated the possibility of retiring after the Lakers were swept by the Nuggets earlier this week. Fox Sports’ Colin Cowherd tossed out a wild potential move for LeBron on his radio show on Wednesday: a trade to the Warriors.

Cowherd’s proposal, which he says “is not tinfoil hat stuff,” would send James to Golden State in exchange for Andrew Wiggins, Jonathan Kuminga and Jordan Poole. It’s a win-now move for Golden State, which Cowherd points out already dealt one young player in James Wiseman, while giving the Lakers depth around Anthony Davis.

Here’s Cowherd’s full monologue on his mock trade.

No matter how hard Cowherd tried to sell it, fans weren’t convinced.
