Charles Barkley Hilariously Trashed the Celtics for Playing So Badly in Game 7 Loss to Heat
The Celtics had a chance to make NBA history in Sunday night’s Game 7 against the Heat. Instead, they came out flat and never really put up a fight at home and saw their season come to an end with a humiliating 103–84 loss that will sting for quite some time.
Jayson Tatum, who tweaked his ankle in the first minute of the game, finished with just 14 points. The Celtics as a team hit just 9-of-42 three pointers and could never string together enough made shots to really threaten the Heat.
Charles Barkley teed off on Boston at halftime, trashing them for playing some really bad basketball:
That bad play continued in the second half for the Celtics and it ended up costing them a trip to the NBA Finals.
Miami, meanwhile, moves on to face the Nuggets with Game 1 on Thursday night.
