Just six years into the franchise’s existence, the Golden Knights routed the Panthers 9–3 in Game 5 of the Stanley Cup Finals to capture the organization’s first-ever championship.

After grabbing an early 2–0 advantage in Game 5, Vegas never looked back. Even after Florida cut the lead to 2–1, the Golden Knights scored four straight goals to take a 6–1 lead into the 3rd period to cruise to a title.

The Golden Knights fans were partying all night, including collectively singing a beautiful rendition of “My Own Worst Enemy” a 1999 hit by the band Lit. The crowd of over 19,000 strong made their presence known the entire postseason run, and Tuesday night was no different.

The Vegas faithful undoubtedly took their partying deep into the night as the Golden Knights are now Stanley Cup champions.
