Celtics Fans Were So Bummed Out About Marcus Smart Getting Traded to Grizzlies

He was a fan-favorite in Boston

The Celtics, Grizzlies, and Wizards pulled off a stunning three-team trade late Wednesday night that had big names on the move and had Boston fans feeling bummed out after learning one of their favorite players was a part of the blockbuster deal. 

In case you missed it, Boston sent Marcus Smart to the Grizzlies and got Kristaps Porziņģis from the Wizards. Washington, meanwhile, got former Memphis guard, Tyus Jones, in the three-team trade.

Celtics fans got emotional over the Smart move because not only did he spend his first nine years in the NBA with the team but he played with so much heart during all those years and became beloved in Boston.
