Former ESPN Co-Workers, NFL Fans Pay Tributes To Suzy Kolber After She Announces Layoff

She spent 27 years at the sports network.

Suzy Kolber’s impressive run at ESPN sadly came to an end Friday when she announced on Twitter that she had been a part of the latest round of layoffs that are taking place at the sports network. 

Kolber spent 27 years at ESPN and was well-known for all of the NFL coverage she handled during those years, including most recently being the host of Monday Night Countdown

A number of well-known names have been let go by ESPN on Friday, including lead NBA analyst Jeff Van Gundy, which was stunning news for basketball fans

Kolber announced her news on Twitter, saying she’s grateful for her time at ESPN and that she’s looking forward to her next project:
