Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James spent last week in North Augusta, S.C. coaching his son Bryce’s 16U basketball team at the prestigious Nike EYBL Peach Jam tournament

James teamed up with another former NBA player in Rajon Rondo to coach the team, which went 3–1 but failed to advance out of pool play due to point differential.

But an early exit didn’t stop James from producing some hilarious moments on the sideline, captured in a viral TikTok video shared by Brent Wilson showcasing the many emotions of “Coach LeBron”. As you might expect, James was fired up on the sideline.

Perfection.

For at least one weekend, James was just like every other AAU coach, working the referees for calls, diagramming plays for his 16-year-old son Bryce and the rest of his Strive For Greatness team, and going through handshake lines postgame. Some fans on social media chimed in about the plight of the referees, which had to handle the complaints of one of the greatest basketball players ever on the sideline.

James was among the many former NBA stars in attendance at Peach Jam. Two other members of James’ famed “Banana Boat Crew,” Carmelo Anthony and Chris Paul, were in Augusta to support their AAU programs Team Melo and Team CP3. Anthony’s son Kiyan, who is the same age as Bryce James, also participated in the event.
