During the Major League Baseball All-Star Game, fans were treated to players being mic’d-up during live action and it certainly delivered some entertaining sound bites.

While the game’s best player in Shohei Ohtani was at bat in the bottom of the first inning, Fox broadcaster Joe Davis was talking with Dodgers stars Freddie Freeman and Mookie Betts while they were in the field.

"They're chanting 'Come to Seattle.” Do you guys want to start your own chant to Shohei?” asked Davis.

Freeman was not willing to take the bait and took the diplomatic road of stating every team would of course want Ohtani.

"That would be tampering. I'm not doing any of that ... I'm gonna go with all 30 teams would want Shohei on their team," Freeman jokingly responded.

The Angels superstar, who seemingly does something no one in baseball has done before on a weekly basis, leads the majors with 32 home runs at the All-Star break.

The 2021 American League MVP is hitting .302 with 71 RBIs while also sporting an impressive 7–4 record with 3.32 ERA with 132 strikeouts in 17 starts.

The two-way superstar will be an unrestricted free agent at the end of the season and will almost certainly sign the biggest contract in MLB history.
