NFL Fans Loved Netflix’s Mic’d-Up Footage of Patrick Mahomes’s Heated Talk With Andy Reid After Injury

The Kansas City Chiefs quarterback did NOT want to come out of this game.

Netflix released its new docuseries, Quarterback, last week, and it has quickly become a hit thanks to all the cool mic’d-up moments and behind-the-scenes stories it has told about Patrick Mahomes, Kirk Cousins and Marcus Mariota.

One of the best mic’d-up moments came from last year’s Jaguars-Chiefs playoff game when Mahomes injured his ankle in the first half and had to go into the locker room to get an X-ray.

Mahomes clearly didn’t want to miss a drive to get his ankle checked out, and he let coach Andy Reid and offensive coordinator Eric Bieniemy know that with a number of F-bombs while pleading to stay in the game.

Mahomes shook off the injury and led the Chiefs to another Super Bowl title.
