Nick Saban Had a Terrible Take on Cake
1. Nick Saban is a great head coach but terrible connoisseur of desserts.
At SEC media day on Wednesday, Saban revealed that his favorite cake is carrot cake. In fact, when he was asked about his favorite cake, he said, “Carrot cake. That’s easy.”
That's easy? Carrot cake shouldn't even be in the top 10 cakes.
Cakes better than carrot cake:
Cheesecake
Coffee cake
Chocolate cake
Red velvet cake
Strawberry shortcake
Coconut cake
Pound cake
Lemon cake
Ice cream cake
Funnel cake
If you like carrot cake, what you’re really saying is that you just like frosting, which is fine. But the cake part of a carrot cake should not be anyone’s favorite.
2. Netflix dropped the trailer for its upcoming season of Untold. I’m sure it’s just me, but I don’t have any interest in watching a show about any of these people/subjects, but I’m sure many of you will be fired up.
3. Funny story here from Julian Edelman on the time he interrupted Randy Moss while he was on the phone with his mom.
4. The biggest story of the week has been everyone flipping out about running backs not getting paid anymore. This is by far the best tweet I've seen regarding the whole saga.
