Seahawks Used Awesome 1990’s-Themed Video To Show Off Sweet New Throwback Uniforms
The Seattle Seahawks became the latest NFL franchise to unveil slick new throwback uniforms, and fans everywhere loved them.
Seattle’s fresh look features royal blue jerseys with green accents and silver helmets with a blue and green Seahawks logo on the side, all meant to imitate the threads the team wore in the 1990s, when the team’s future in the city was secured because of Paul Allen purchasing the franchise. The team is expected to wear the new uniforms for an Oct. 29th home game against the Cleveland Browns (who also have some cool alternate uniforms).
Here’s a full look at the uniforms, as well as the team’s incredible release video.
Throwback jerseys can be controversial, but there seems to be no debate about these ones. Fans hit social media immediately to show their love for the new look.
Some did point out the humor in using Seahawks rookie Jaxon Smith-Njigba, who was born in 2002, being the star of the 90s-themed unveiling.
These jerseys are going to be hard to top.
