Sauce Gardner Gifted Aaron Rodgers With a Dazzling Jets Necklace
As we know, Ahmad “Sauce” Gardner loves his bling. Now, he’s spreading that love with his new quarterback.
After training camp practice on Saturday, last season’s NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year gifted Aaron Rodgers with a bold diamond necklace, that appropriately featured the No. 8—the jersey number Rodgers will wear with the Jets.
Gardner walked up to his new signal-caller toting a gift bag, telling Rodgers that he began thinking about the idea when he found out that his jeweler’s favorite quarterback was the recently-acquired New York signal-caller.
“Hear me out, hear me out. So you’re my jeweler’s favorite quarterback,” a smiling Gardner explained. “You know what I mean, Al The Jeweler. So he wanted to cook up something special for you. He brought the idea to me, I said ‘I think would be a good idea.’”
After displaying the impressive necklace, Rodgers asked the Jets star cornerback to place the gift around his neck. Once Gardner secured the chain, the four-time NFL MVP embraced his new teammate and thanked him for the generous gift.
Since we know Gardner already owns his own ‘Sauce’ chain, you can be sure the next time the two teammates attend a Rangers or Knicks home game, they will both be sporting their spectacular necklaces.
Later in the day, fans got a close-up view of the necklace with Rodgers’ name engraved on the edge.
