Twins Closer Jhoan Duran Had MLB Fans Questioning Everything With Beautiful 101-MPH Splinker

This pitch just didn’t seem real.

Minnesota Twins closer Jhoan Duran has some of the nastiest stuff in all of Major League Baseball, which is saying a lot because there are just so many pitchers throwing so many filthy pitches these days. 

Duran left fans in awe again Tuesday night when he threw a 101-mph splinker (which is a combined splitter and sinker) that had a ridiculous amount of movement and left Cardinals outfielder Jordan Walker walking back to the dugout after swinging and missing for strike three. 

This pitch will make you glad that you’ll never have to step into the batter’s box and face a MLB pitcher:
