Dak Prescott Responds to LeSean McCoy’s Viral Criticism
Former NFL running back LeSean McCoy has continued to make headlines with his controversial takes. Recently, McCoy took aim at the Cowboys and quarterback Dak Prescott.
McCoy specifically spoke about the viral trash talking situation between Prescott and teammate Trevon Diggs. McCoy talked on FS1’s Speak Live and said that during his time in the league, he played with quarterbacks who would never have heard this kind of talk from their teammates.
Prescott was asked about McCoy’s comments on 105.3 the Fan, and the quarterback gave quite the unbothered response.
“Honestly, I couldn’t tell you what he’s saying,” Prescott said. “I think he’s probably just getting paid well and likes his money.”
So, it sounds like Prescott isn’t fazed by McCoy’s comments.
The video between Prescott and Diggs shows the cornerback appearing to tell the quarterback to “shut your b---- a-- up” after a play during training camp this week.
Diggs later told The Athletic’s Jon Machota: “I feel like it makes practice fun. At the end of the day, that’s my brother. I love Dak to death. There nothing behind it. It’s just competitiveness, it’s just football.”
