Quarterback Aaron Rodgers is settling into becoming the face of the Jets franchise after purchasing a new home in New Jersey.
The four-time NFL league Most Valuable Player, has bought a $9.5 million home in the Montclair area of New Jersey, per a report in The New York Post. The Daily Mail first broke the news.
The two acre piece of property allows the star signal-caller to simply be in the bright lights of NYC during his off time, with a simple trip across the George Washington Bridge or via the Lincoln Tunnel.
Besides sporting a modern style with a plethora of windows affording a panoramic view of the landscape, the house features a spacious home theater as well as a wine cellar.
Despite recently taking a $35 million pay cut, the 39-year-old Rodgers can still comfortably afford a lavish mansion.
The 10-time Pro Bowl talent did not dress in the Jets Hall of Game against the Browns on Thursday night.
Rumors are if he does see any preseason action at all with Gang Green, it would come in the club's final exhibition game against the rival Giants on Aug. 26.
