Panthers rookie quarterback Bryce Young made his NFL preseason debut Saturday during Carolina’s clash against the Jets.
The No. 1 pick in the 2023 NFL draft was in the game for a bit more than one quarter before being replaced by backup Matt Corral.
Young didn’t see too much action during the game, logging a total of six pass attempts. He completed four passes for 21 yards and was sacked once before making his leave early in the second quarter. The Panthers’ offensive line was struggling to protect the young quarterback, who took three QB hits against New York’s defense.
Following Young’s preseason debut, fans on social media weighed in on what was a somewhat underwhelming performance from the 22-year-old.
