New Jets wideout Mecole Hardman knows a thing or two about Super Bowls. The 25-year-old slot wide receiver won two championships in four seasons with Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs prior to signing with New York in the offseason, after all.

If the mind-bending results of Tuesday’s Hard Knocks episode are to be believed, Hardman will soon have a third Super Bowl ring.

The Jets, who enter the 2023 season with championship expectations following the addition of Aaron Rodgers, are the focus of HBO’s hit preseason-focused series this year. During episode two on Tuesday, Hardman was used as an accomplice by mentalist Oz Pearlman after being asked for his Super Bowl prediction for this upcoming season.

The former Georgia standout chose San Francisco 49ers as the team New York would encounter in Las Vegas in Super Bowl LVII. Pearlman didn’t stop there, pressing Hardman to reveal that the Jets would emerge victorious by a final score of 31–21.

Pearlman had previously asked the 2019 Pro Bowl selection to move pieces of a jigsaw puzzle. After making his prediction, the mesmerizing mentalist sent the room into a buzz when he revealed the clearly untouched puzzle displaying the score of “Jets 31, 49ers 21.”

While Pearlman was able to stun players and coaches with the Super Bowl stunt as well as a card trick, he’ll have pulled off his best trick of all if the club actually wins its first Lombardi Trophy since 1969.
