Stephen A. Smith, known for boisterous takes on the biggest topics in sports, had social media buzzing on Friday after posting a clip discussing his experience at a Taylor Swift concert.

The brief video, courtesy of his Stephen A. Smith Show, highlights the time he attended a Swift concert with his daughters and their friends.

The highly popular sports personality initially disclosed that he purchased 10 tickets for her daughters and their friends with the shocking confession that each ticket was priced at $2,000. Smith, who emphatically stated that it cost him $20,000 in total for the tickets, quickly pivoted to say that he joined the girls after receiving free tickets and it was the “best concert” he had ever attended.

“My man Mark Shapiro, he gave me two free tickets,” Smith said. “Not only did I send my daughters back to the concert, daddy actually went with them. Me at a Taylor Swift concert. But I said I’m gonna go see her... That’s the best concert I’ve ever been to in my life. Excuse my language, but that s--- was off the chain. Taylor Swift brought the damn house down.”

Hearing Smith praise arguably the most prominent cultural figure of the 21st century set social media ablaze, especially once he said he would pay to see her again.

“I was jamming to Taylor Swift," Smith continued. "She was sensational. I’d pay to see her again. Seriously, I’m not joking. She was a superstar that night. That girl is special.”

Sounds like there’s no denying that Smith is a now a certified member of the Swifties.
