As the ball boys and girls ran onto the court at Louis Armstrong Stadium on Wednesday night for the U.S. Open’s “Stars of the Open” event, one ball boy stood out from the rest: Heat star Jimmy Butler.

The six-time NBA star was decked out in full ball boy garb, and he got to work on the court during the match between world No. 1 Carlos Alcaraz and No. 10 Frances Tiafoe.

But, Butler didn’t stay put on the sidelines. At one point, he grabbed a racquet and jumped onto the court prepared to play Alcaraz, the reigning U.S. Open champion.

The NBA star and tennis star played one point against each other. While Alcaraz clearly played easy on Butler, the Heat forward walked away victorious thanks to a quick forehand hit. Check out the point below.

On top of this new highlight added to Butler’s athletic reel, the 33-year-old also became a new meme after a video of him running onto the court as a ball boy was posted.

Butler is notably a big tennis fan, having attended various tennis tournaments—including Wimbledon last month. He’s also developed relationships with and inspired stars such as Tiafoe and Coco Gauff.
