Nebraska’s women’s volleyball team team made history Wednesday night, playing a home match inside the Cornhuskers’ football stadium in front of more than 92,000 fans to set a world record for the most-attended women’s sporting event.

Playing in the stadium meant carrying out many of the traditions that make football game days in Lincoln special. That included the team’s walk through the tunnel of Memorial Stadium, which the football team has been doing for nearly 30 years. With lights flashing and music blaring, the Huskers volleyball team got the full experience, and the video of it is sure to give you chills.

 Perfection.

Seeing the support as the team emerged from the locker room was incredible, and Cornhuskers star Lexi Rodriguez (No. 8 in the video) couldn’t help but crack a smile as she helped lead the team out. It was the perfect encapsulation of a historic night not just for Nebraska, but for women’s sports, and fans loved it.
