This was weird.

Dillon Brooks has brought his unexplainable antics to the FIBA World Cup.

The fiery wing, whose trash talk towards LeBron James during this year’s NBA playoffs earned him plenty of criticism, was on another level during Wednesday’s matchup between Luka Dončic’s Slovenia and his home country of Canada. After being greeted with boos in pregame warmups, Brooks was ejected in the fourth quarter for taunting a Slovenian player after making a three.

Rather than wait for the team in the locker room, Brooks instead stood in the tunnel shadow-boxing (gloves and all) while the game concluded before greeting his coaching staff with some celebratory jabs.

There was reportedly meaning behind the boxing: The game broadcast noted the Canadian team’s mentality in the tournament was “body blows." Still, Brooks took this one to a different level, and had the internet cracking up at his bizarre behavior.

Canada advanced to the semifinals with a win. It’s hard to imagine what Brooks might do with a gold medal on the line. Clearly, nothing is off the table.
