The New York Giants kicked off their 2023 season with one of their most embarrassing performances in years—a 40-0 loss at home to Dak Prescott and the rival Cowboys

Daniel Jones and the Giants’ offense were completely dominated all night by a Dallas defense that looked in midseason form. Jones threw two interceptions and was sacked seven times. It was the definition of ugly.

NBC analyst Cris Collinsworth took some time late in the game to trash the Giants and their play in the season opener, saying: “Yeah. I mean, this is awful. I don’t know what else to say.”

The Giants will look to bounce back in Week 2 when they travel to Arizona to face the Cardinals next Sun.
