Peyton Manning Takes Subtle Shot at Patriots During 'MNF' Megacast
Monday Night Football was graced by the presence of Peyton Manning and he made the most out of his appearance on the network’s ‘Megacast’ after joining as a guest. In addition to some jokes surrounding fellow guest Charles Barkley’s weight, he took a subtle shot at his former on-field foe — the New England Patriots. Manning was explaining how communication between coach and quarterback cuts off when the play clock hits the 15-second mark before adding, “certain teams, maybe in the northeast, they don’t cut their lines. They let it go all the way to zero seconds.”
