John Starks Confirms Notorious B.I.G's Story Of Confrontation With Knicks Player

Rapper Notorious B.I.G once rapped about altercation with New York Knicks players in his hit, "I Got A Story To Tell"

In 1997, rapper Notorious B.I.G released a song called "I Got A Story To Tell" on his Life After Death album. 

The song details an altercation with a New York Knicks player after the rapper was caught during an sexual encounter with the player's girlfriend. Former Knicks player John Starks recently confirmed the story was indeed true. 

"I know [who it was] but I'm not saying," Starks said "It wasn't me." 

The song was one of the final released by Biggie before he was murdered. It is considered among the best in hip hop history. In the song, the rapper describes the encounter. He is involved with a former Knicks players who shows up at his home to discover his woman involved with another man, the rapper. 

He introduced the situation with the verse, "She's stressing me to f***, like she was in a rush. We f**** in his bed, quite dangerous. I'm in his a** while he playing against the Utah Jazz."

"He comes up in the spot," Biggie says on the song. "Had me scared, had me scared to death, I was shook Daddy."

The track continues with Biggie brandishing a gun to de-escalate the situation. 

"I've never met Biggie before, God rest his soul," Starks said. "He was a great artist.  I know who it was."
