Magic Johnson retired from the NBA in 1996 at the age of 36.

Four years later, he proved he could still play the game he's always dominated. A video recently resurfaced of Johnson playing in a Swedish League.

He played for a team called Magic M7.

"What a magical throwback! Watching this video brings back so many memories," Johnson posted on X, formerly known as Twitter."

According to @Swish Cultures, who posted the video, Johnson played five games and scored 30 points in one game and had 11 assists in the first two and half minutes in another.

The memory made Johnson further explain the circumstances of the games.

"Let me share the real Magic M7 story - The team owner reached out to me to see if I had any interest in doing a marketing deal," Johnson continued. "They offered me a percentage of the team with cash and named it after me, but I was never the majority owner. I was excited about the opportunity and even agreed to play in 5 games, all sold out, to help the team drive revenue! I had so much fun! Shout out to all the fans in Sweden who showed up to support and watch the Magic man play!"

The highlights were quite the throwback, especially for true Magic fans. The Hall of Famer proved he could electrify any crowd, no matter the country.
