LeBron James is the player most often in the conversation with Michael Jordan as the greatest player in NBA history.

But Golden State Warriors guard Steph Curry thinks differently.

Curry recently gave his all-time NBA starting five. James didn't make an appearance on the list. Curry told BuzzFeed his lineup would be Jordan of the Chicago Bulls, San Antonio Spurs forward Tim Duncan and Los Angeles Lakers superstars Shaquille O'Neal, Magic Johnson and Kobe Bryant.

Curry initially picked Boston Celtics forward Larry Bird before switching to the late Bryant, who was killed in a helicopter accident in 2020. James did not make the cut despite winning four championships with three different teams while becoming the league's career scoring leader last season.

Here's the lineup:

C: O'Neal

PF: Duncan

SF: Bryant

SG: Jordan

PG: Johnson
