The LeBron James-Michael Jordan debate will forever.

They are generally the most mentioned players when it comes to the label of best ever. They never faced each other so it's impossible to truly determine who is the G.O.A.T

But one of Jordan's teammates said it would be a "no-contest" if Jordan's 1996 Chicago Bulls faced James' 2013 Miami Heat. Former Bulls forward Dennis Rodman said they would have made quick work of the Heat.

"It would be a no-contest,” Rodman said in an interview with Dan Patrick in 2013. “The Heat have the better talent than we had, but we have smarter players. That’s the only thing we have, smarter players. But guess what? When matching with the Heat, that’s easy."

Rodman's comment came at the time when the Heat were on top of the NBA world. They won 66 games, including 28 straight, on the way to a second straight title. James was paired with Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh, who were considered top 10 players.

Still, Rodman thought the Bulls, who won a then-NBA record 72 games, would have an easy time dispatching the Heat.

"You know who could lock up LeBron," Rodman said. "Me, Mike, and Scottie could. F**k yeah. I would have locked his a** up. LeBron is so easy to play. He’s so f*****g easy to play, he don’t have any moves. Only move he has is streak down the line. He ain’t got no moves. Where he going?? Where is he going that’s quick?

"That’ll be sh*t, you can stop that. Scottie Pippen would have shut his f*****g a** down quick before I get to him. His game is too simple, he’s just big. I’m 260 and 6’8” and 6’9”, that’s the only thing he got pretty much. I played against guys 7-foot, 300, so it doesn’t really matter."

Sadly, this debate will never be decided because they played in different eras.
