Rising in the West: Pac-2's Bid for College Football Playoff Success

What will happen with the remains of the Pac-12, Washington State and Oregon State could potentially make the CFP says Barrett Sallee.

Barrett Sallee was on the Ruffino & Joe Show to discuss the many changes happening in college football. One thing the analyst brought up is the intrigue behind what will happen to the remains of the Pac-12.

‘“I am interested in next season with the Pac-2 happening with Washington State and Oregon State. Especially with Oregon State, that is a really good team, and the possibility of them potentially going undefeated or being a one-loss team could put them in a position to make the playoff,” said Sallee. “It is one of those kinda unintended consequences of all this reshuffling that maybe they could get in.”

It would be surprising to see one of these teams make the College Football Playoff, but it would also be quite the story now that the other ten teams in their conference are moving on.
