The Los Angeles Chargers shocked the NFL world when they decided to move on from WR Keenan Allen. Allen was asked to take a pay cut, which he refused, resulting in his being traded to the Chicago Bears.

While Chargers fans might be upset at the trade, former Broncos and Chargers cornerback Chris Harris Jr. reveals why it was a good trade for the Bolts. They landed a fourth-round pick for Allen, and the amount of times he hits the endzone is a big reason why they chose to move on.

"Oh, yeah. I think it definitely was a smart move by the Chargers, you know. His cap number was, I mean, high, you know, $20 million think, almost $30 million...He's going to get you a lot of catches, and a lot of possessions. Right? But he doesn't find the endzone. He's not scoring ten-plus touchdowns a year. Right. So I would think that's good, that's a solid trade to be able to get a fourth round. There's a lot of weapons, a lot of receivers in this draft and you know, I think Keenan was a fourth-rounder, and they developed him."

Harris Jr. is speaking on the Charger being able to land Allen for a fourth-rounder and also trading him for a fourth-rounder makes a lot of sense. He is not a big red zone threat, despite securing a ton of catches.

The Chargers need to find a WR who can stretch the field and score TDs, and with the loaded draft coming up, they could easily find the right type of offensive threat.
