Chris Hogan Takes Us Behind The Scenes Of New England Patriots Super Bowl Parties

Chris Hogan reveals what New England Patriots Super Bowl parties were like.

So what happens at a post-Super Bowl party for the victorious squad?

If anyone knows, it's Chris Hogan of The Patriots Report With Price & Hogan podcast.

When asked by his co-host, The Boston Globe's Christopher Price, to unpack how it felt to attend a New England Patriots Super Bowl celebration circa 2016-18, the former journeyman wide receiver got pretty candid. With Hogan in tow, the Patriots won twice in that period.

"Well, I mean, listen, you got Mr. Kraft [longtime Pats owner Robert Kraft], who is not shy [about] spending his money and having a party," Hogan said. "So you can imagine what all of these these things were. I mean, all the bells and whistles, all the performers, all the big names, you these giant, giant facilities with just whatever, whatever you need, whatever you want. I mean, after we won in 2016, I mean, that game. I think for a lot of us walking into that party was just kind of like, what the hell?"

"You know, I think it took a minute for all of us to start enjoying the party because we were just we had to come down from where we are, what we just had achieved," Hogan allowed. "But that, I mean, listen, whoever's out at the game, you got to go spend some time with them."

"You get to see your family. But everyone is just you could just see the stress in the way you know, [head coach Bill Belichick]'s having fun bills, drinking," Hogan added in a surprise tidbit. "He's smiling. Right. Which you don't see very often. You know, he's sharing drinks with with all of his team. You with all of his players, the coaches. You get to enjoy it together in a you know, in an environment where no one is worried about tomorrow or the next game.

"And that's such a rare thing in this league. And it doesn't happen," Hogan acknowledges. "You know, so many guys get this opportunity to get to this game and you get to win it. And this is something that you're going to remember for the rest of your lives. Right? And so these those moments and these these parties are just like I mean, they're spectacular.

The Monmouth alum enjoyed a decade-long pro career. In addition to his three seasons with New England, he played for the Buffalo Bills, Carolina Panthers, New York Jets, and New Orleans Saints. He's caught 220 career receptions across 2,836 receiving yards and 19 touchdowns.
