Cowboys’ Legend Still Thinks Dak Is The Man
The Dallas Cowboys face an offseason full of uncertainty after another disappointing playoff exit. Hall of Fame wide receiver Drew Pearson joined The Weekly Pass with Bonnie-Jill Laflin and Hollie Huggins to talk about the future of his former team.
“Dak is the man. If we don’t have Dak, where do we go? Look at all these teams struggling with the quarterback position,” said Pearson. “We have a situation with Dak where we have to get the people around him to make him better. If we change the head coaching situation, we would have to change the coordinator, and Dak would have to learn new terminology from somebody else, and that is a negative.”
The conversation is once again centered around the legitimacy of Dak Prescott and Mike McCarthy as leaders of a Super Bowl-contending team. No one doubts their ability to rack up wins during the regular season, but they continue to come up short when it matters the most.
