Former Seahawk Lofa Tatupu Doesn't Understand the Flags

On the Take 12 podcast, retired Seahawks Linebacker Lofa Tatupu expressed frustration with some flags in his former team's game against the Cowboys.
In this story:

Tatupu highlighted one play in particular that he had a problem with during Seattle's loss to Dallas. Dak Prescott threw a deep shot to CeeDee Lamb down the left sideline and drew a flag on Riq Woolen for pass interference. The play resulted in 35 yards and a first down on what appeared to be minimal contact that could have easily been ruled an incompletion. Tatupu claims that the Seahawk's defender did not do anything to stop the receiver from coming back to the ball and was confused by the flag.

Tatupu, like many others, is struggling to come to terms with the way the game is sometimes played in the modern era. As a former defensive player, he has the right to voice his displeasure with how the NFL is officiated now.

"Receivers are blatantly pushing off. Your natural reaction is to grab a piece of the shoulder pad or something just so you don't get thrown by. Maybe just let them throw you by and fall, then go for the flag and do the look like everybody else does looking for the flag," said Tatupu.

He makes a solid point that we might see a lot more flopping in football if it is going to be called this way.
