Jason Dunn on Kansas City Chiefs Winning the Super Bowl, "We're Going To Be Better Next Year"
On Sunday, the Kansas City Chiefs accomplished a feat that hasn't been reached in almost 20 years: back-to-back Super Bowl champions.
The Chiefs displayed their prowess at Allegiant Stadium to become the ninth team in the Super Bowl era to reach back-to-back titles. It wasn't easy, not even a little bit, but the Chiefs proved to have the heart of a champion, even on a so-called "down year."
Let's be honest: the Chiefs weren't the juggernauts we've seen in years past. However, they showed they were still the team to beat when it mattered most.
Now begs the question, could the Chiefs do it again? It's too early to tell, but one thing is sure: they will be better. At least, according to former Chiefs tight end Jason Dunn. Following the Super Bowl victory, Dunn appeared on the Chief Concerns podcast and said Knasa City will be even better next season.
“Like Deion [Sanders] said, this is y’all best chance to get us. You got us on a down year, this is your best chance, your best opportunity to try to get us was now, when we were struggling, 11-6. We’ll be better next year, a lot better. You had your shot and we took it.”

The former tight end also said why the Chiefs will be the team to beat next season.
“Can you imagine the re-up with Kansas City? Like getting some young receivers, some other guys in here that are going to be able to help out.”

Dunn also says he is astonished by the Chiefs' ability to be contenders year after year.
It's rare to have a team like the Chiefs in the league. It's Kansas City's world right now, and we're just living in it. It doesn't seem like the Chiefs will be done winning titles any time soon.
