Jeff Fedotin Picks Surprising Reason the Chiefs Have the Edge in the Super Bowl “It Can’t Hurt”
The Super Bowl picks are beginning to materialize, and while pundits and fans are picking which defense or offense will be key to winning the game—there is another factoid that has been overlooked.
Joe Valerio and Jeff Fedotin speak on Bleav in Chiefs about why Kansas City is set to have the edge over San Francisco, and it's one that many people might not be talking about.
"The Chiefs 4-0 at Allegiant Stadium. They've they've never lost since the stadium was built in Las Vegas in 2020. You know, NBS called it Arrowhead West. A lot of the guys were saying how much they like playing here. You know, that can't hurt. That's kind of an interesting little factoid there."

The Chiefs have not lost a game in Allegiant Stadium since it was built in 2020. While they have done so against the Las Vegas Raiders, it's a familiar stadium to the team already. They have had four trips to the stadium and won all four of those games.
Both the Chiefs and the 49ers are traveling for the game, but the 49ers have not been in the stadium as much as their opponent. It may sound silly, but familiarity could play a big part in today's winner.
"Yeah, there's definitely a little bit of mojo, you know, that comes into a game like that where you're used to a feel of the stadium that you've been to. You've had a lot of success there. It's just a just a feeling you get right when you walk in that there's this in the back of your subconscious mind. There's this confidence that you can win there no matter who you might be playing. It can't hurt, right?"

Valerio also comments on this factoid of the Chiefs being undefeated in Allegiant Stadium. He also took a dig at the Raiders, who are not in the Super Bowl in their home stadium.
Either way, the Chiefs are poised to bring home the big win, in a stadium that is very familiar to them.
