Jonathan Stewart on Kelce Pushing Andy Reid, "Travis Was Wrong, Period"
Despite the Kansas City Chiefs winning the Super Bowl, there have been many discussions about what transpired between tight end Travis Kelce and head coach Andy Reid.
During the game, the cameras caught Kelce nearly knocking over Reid, as he screamed in his face. The world chalked it up to passion and emotion, but that does not give Kelce a pass for disrespecting his head coach.
The Bleav in Panthers team discussed the interaction, and why it was seemingly brushed over.
"If Fred Warner had done that to Kyle Shanahan in that same part of the game, what would the public reaction have been?"

Desmond Johnson posed the question if 49ers linebacker Fred Warner had done that to head coach Kyle Shanahan, would there have been more outrage? That is a fair question and considering Warner is a defensive player, the world might have painted it as something far different.
"I think what's happening right now is, it's all emotions. Everyone's having their own emotions and Travis was wrong, period. Shouldn't have done it."

Stewart is right in stating that what Kelce did was inexcusable. He was on the biggest stage in the country and everyone saw him look as though he was disrespecting his head coach.
"The reality is that this was a Super Bowl. Now, how things played out if they would have lost, I think this would have this would have been part of another discussion. Where it might be said, 'Oh, man, the Chiefs are falling apart. Andy Reid can't control his players. Travis Kelce is a spoiled little boy.'"

No matter what anyone translates the moment to, it is a showing of Kelce appearing to knock his own coach down out of anger. Passions run high but players need to have the wherewithal not let those emotions overtake them, especially on camera.
