On a recent episode of the Take 12 podcast, Lofa Tatupu talked about what the Seahawk's game plan should be for their Monday night matchup with the Eagles. Geno Smith is officially active for the game, but it has still yet to be determined if the quarterback will start the game for Seattle.

Drew Lock took most of the reps with the first team this week in practice as Smith nursed a groin injury.

"If you can run the ball, which is what Pete has always said he wants to do, then I think we have the opportunity," said Tatupu. "Their pressure win rate might not be up, but they still have two-deep of one of the best defensive lines out there."

Whether Lock is named the signal caller for this game or Smith is ready to go, Seattle would be wise to lean on the run as they try to keep the ball out of Jalen Hurts and the Eagle's hands. Smith would give the Seahawks a much-needed boost in the passing game if Philadelphia's defense keeps them from establishing the run.

"I don't know if Geno is healthy," said Tatupu. "Geno should know this system inside and out by now, so it is not big if he misses some days of practice to get healthy."

The Seahawks are currently a 4-point underdog in Monday Night Football's game against the Eagles.
