Mike Wahle Ranks the Top Wide Receivers in the NFC

Mike Wahle of On My Block joins The Game Plan to reveal which NFC WRs are the best.

The 2024 season is fast approaching, and many WRs in the NFC did damage in the 2023 season. But how do they stack up against one another? Mike Wahle of On My Block Podcast joined Reach TV's The Game Plan to rank the top NFC receivers heading into the 2024 season, which contains some heavy hitters.

"Yeah, because I like guys who are chasing greatness and that's what I'm trying to say. [Amon-Ra St.] Brown does day in and day out. I'm sure he does it every day on the practice field as well. Tied for second in the league in receptions, and third in the league in yards. But, you know, really for me, he's one of the toughest guys in the field."

While it might come as a bit of a surprise, Wahle has Amon-Ra St. Brown in the #1 spot, ahead of CeeDee Lamb. Lamb has more yards, TDs, and receptions than Brown. Still, Wahle believes his work ethic makes him #1.

"When you watch CeeDee, you know, he's obviously in a high-powered offense, great quarterback Dak Prescott. He's a great route runner and has a full route tree. He's really good after the catch. It reminds me actually the Detroit Lions game, I think it was like 15 or 16, but the Detroit Lions defense just put out the Dallas Cowboys. And sure enough, CeeDee Lamb takes a flat route, breaks a tackle, goes yard. A couple of series later double moves a safety, lays him on the ground, and almost goes yard again."

Lamb nearly got the receiving yards title as he logged 1,749, 50 yards behind league leader Tyreek Hill. He also had 12 TDs, one behind Hill. Lamb is one of the best route runners in the league and often makes insane catches. Wahle's entire list can be viewed above.
