NFL Legend Joe Theismann on Bengals' Joe Burrow's Injuries
Joe Theismann stopped by to join Solomon Wilcotts on this week's episode of the Bleav in Bengals podcast. The former MVP and Super Bowl champion talked about Joe Burrow's extensive injury history so far in his young career.
"He has got to find a way to stay healthy, and sometimes it is just fluke injuries," said Theismann. "In Joe's case, there have been major injuries that have set him back. We have seen one year of Joe Burrow in four years of him being in the league. I love his swagger, I love his talent, I love the way he leads, I love the way he plays the game."
Burrow has been excellent when healthy and is regarded as one of the most valuable quarterbacks in the league. He lost to the Rams in the Super Bowl in just his second year as a pro and needs to find a way to stay healthy if he wants to get back and finish the job. That is easier said than done, but Theismann made the point that Cincinnati must make his health priority number one.
