Takeo Spikes Compares Patrick Mahomes to the Greatness of Nick Saban and Tom Brady

Takeo Spikes bets big on the idea that Patrick Mahomes is great enough to be named next to Nick Saban and Tom Brady.

One of the most polarizing ideas in the NFL right now is to compare Patrick Mahomes to Tom Brady. Brady is arguably the greatest player to ever play the game of football, but people have been adding Mahomes to the GOAT list as well.

Mahomes is nearing his third Super Bowl ring, and he is only 28. However, Brady has won seven rings, with two different teams. One of which was won at the age of 43. Still, Mahomes has proven that he is a winner and consistently finds ways to win when it's needed.

That alone is something to behold, especially for Takeo Spikes, who broke down the Chiefs QB's amazing play on Behind the Mask.

"I'm almost about to put Patrick Mahomes in the same sentence, like with Nick Saban, Tom Brady...They automatic. There's certain guys you just don't bet against. And Patrick Mahomes, looking at his stats, he clearly shows that."

Should Mahomes win his third ring this Sunday, it will be hard not to place him among the most elite QBs and coaches ever. A lot of people wrote off the Chiefs this season, and they came back and showed the world why they are never to be underestimated.

"He continuously gets it done on the offensive side of the ball and you talk about the leadership capabilities that he has. And I don't see a team consistently for four quarters that is able to beat the Chiefs."

Mahomes does consistently get it done. The Chiefs were able to march into the AFC Championship and completely decimate the Baltimore Ravens. The Ravens were supposed to be a Super Bowl lock, but the reigning champs reminded everyone why it was foolish to think that.

Should Mahomes and the Chiefs take down the high-flying 49ers, it will signify that they are a dynasty that should be placed among the most elite in NFL history.
