INGLEWOOD, Calif. — Undefeated Californian Diego Pacheco will take on Marcelo Coceres for the WBO International and USWBC Super-Middleweight titles at the YouTube Theater in Los Angeles on November 18.

This will be Pacheco(19-0, 16 KOs) third fight of 2023 as he faces the experienced Coceres in California. One of the hottest young fighters in the sport - Pacheco, will headline at home for the first time in his blossoming boxing career.

Pacheco's two stoppage wins over Jack Cullen and Manuel Gallegos were both very impressive. Cullen is a former British champion, and Gallegos is a tough and experienced fighter. He will also be looking to stage another thrilling performance against his Argentinian rival.

“I cannot wait to be headlining at home November 18 at the YouTube Theater. I am looking forward to making a statement and delivering another great performance for all my hometown fans,” said Pacheco in media reports.

In his last fight,  which took place on July 7, 2023 against Manuel Gallegos (19 - 1 - 1), Pacheco won by technical knockout (TKO).

Challenging Pacheco's sustained impressive performance is former World title challenger Coceres (32-5-1, 18 KOs). The Argentine will be back in the city for his biggest night.

“November 18, in his backyard, this is what warriors do. I have a lot of respect for Pacheco, he’s a good fighter, but he’s still young and he has time. This is my time now," said Coceres in media reports.

“I’ve been here before. I’ve been to war. Let’s see how the young boy does when his back is against the wall,” he continued.

“I’m bringing everything into this fight. I can’t afford another loss at this point in my career. This is make or break and I’m leaving everything I have in the ring come November 18,” narrated Coceres.

"Diego is a superstar in the making – and I am thrilled that he’s headlining at the YouTube Theater in his LA home.” “This young man continues to cut through the opposition with power and precision, and I believe that Los Angeles has a new future sporting icon on its hands – and this is going to be the perfect night for Diego to show just that,” said promoter Eddie Hearn.
