Gone are the days of of NBA prospects Amir Coffey, Daniel Oturu and Marcus Carr, but that doesn't mean first year head coach Ben Johnson won't find a way to put together a competitive team when the Gophers open the 2021-22 men's basketball season in November. 

Minnesota's entire schedule was released Wednesday, and it starts with an exhibition Nov. 1 against Concordia-St. Paul and ends Mar. 6 at Northwestern. Packed in between are 29 other games, including the Big Ten opener Dec. 8 against Michigan State at Williams Arena.

Minnesota's roster is loaded with transfers and unknowns, so it's completely unclear what the starting lineup and depth will look like. Among the players that transferred to the Gophers are ex-Twin Cities hoops standouts Jamison Battle (DeLaSalle), Parker Fox (Mahtomedi) and Sean Sutherlin (Irondale).
